How to remove or reorder pages in a PDF

Use Delete pages to drop pages you don’t need, Reorder pages to move them, or Extract pages to save a few as a new PDF. Each takes page numbers like 1-3, 7.

Step by step

  1. Open the tool you need: Delete pages, Reorder pages or Extract pages.
  2. Add the PDF. The page count is shown so you know what you’re working with.
  3. Type the pages (Pages to delete, Pages to keep, or the new Page order): ranges like 2-4 and lists like 1, 3, 9 both work.
  4. Run the tool and download the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.

Tips

  • To move the last page to the front of a 10-page file, reorder as 10, 1-9.
  • Splitting a long PDF into separate files is quicker with Split PDF.

If something goes wrong

It says a page number is out of range.

Check the page count shown under the file name. Page numbers start at 1.
