Step by step, and if something goes wrong

Steps

  1. Drop a PDF.
  2. Type a header, a footer or both.
  3. Select Add header and footer, then download.

If something goes wrong

  • Use {page} and {pages} to insert the page number and total.
  • Text uses the standard PDF font, which covers Western European letters. Other scripts (for example Chinese or Arabic) are not supported yet.
  • Password-protected PDFs can’t be opened directly. If you know the password, remove it first with Unlock PDF.
  • If a PDF is reported as damaged, try opening it and saving a fresh copy with your PDF reader.
  • Scripts, embedded attachments and automatic actions are removed from the output for safety. Links to websites are kept.
