Step by step, and if something goes wrong

Steps

  1. Add a PDF.
  2. Choose to split every page, or enter ranges such as 1-3, 4-6.
  3. Select Split PDF and download each file.

If something goes wrong

  • Ranges can be open-ended: “5-” means page 5 to the end.
  • Password-protected PDFs can’t be opened directly. If you know the password, remove it first with Unlock PDF.
  • If a PDF is reported as damaged, try opening it and saving a fresh copy with your PDF reader.
  • Scripts, embedded attachments and automatic actions are removed from the output for safety. Links to websites are kept.
