Step by step, and if something goes wrong

Steps

  1. Drop one or more GIF photos (up to 50 at once).
  2. There are no settings to change.
  3. Select Convert to PNG, then download each file or all of them as a ZIP.

If something goes wrong

  • PNG has better colour than GIF. Animated GIFs keep only their first frame.
  • HEIC photos (from iPhones) are supported. Outside Safari, a HEIC decoder loads the first time you add one.
  • Very large images (over 50 megapixels) are rejected to keep your browser responsive.
  • Output never contains the original’s hidden metadata (such as GPS location), because the image is redrawn from its pixels.
