Accessibility statement
Last updated: 27 October 2026
We want FilePDQ to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels for screen readers.
- The site respects your system’s dark mode and reduced-motion settings.
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content.
- Tools will offer alternatives to drag-and-drop and to drawing with a mouse.
How we test
Every page is checked automatically with axe-core on each change, and we test keyboard use of menus and controls. Automated checks cannot find every problem, and we have not yet had an independent audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
Known issues
- The QR code preview is an image. Its content is the text you entered in the form, but the code itself cannot be read by a screen reader.
- Tools have been tested with a keyboard and automated checks, but not yet with screen readers such as VoiceOver or NVDA.
