Steps

- Download the repaired copy and check its pages. The report says what was wrong and how many pages were recovered.
If something goes wrong
- Files cut off during a download or email are the most common damage. Downloading the file again often fixes it for good.
- Content missing from a damaged file can’t be recreated; repair recovers what is still there.
- If the pages come back as pictures, use Searchable PDF (OCR) to make the text searchable again.
